Koah truck crash closes Kennedy Highway
Traffic has been bought to a standstill on a major Tablelands road after an Ergon Energy vehicle collided with a small truck.

The drivers of two trucks that collided on the Kennedy Highway have escaped without major injuries, but the collision has caused morning delays for motorists.
Emergency services were called to the main road linking Kuranda to Mareeba about 8.25am.
The crash happened near the corner of Palm Valley Rd, about 600m east of the United service station.
Ambulance officers have now left the scene after finding both drivers were not injured.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said there was debris on the road and officers were at the scene directing traffic.
“A single lane will be open soon,” she said.

It is understood one of the vehicles involved in the crash was an Ergon Energy vehicle.
According to drivers at the scene traffic is slowly starting to move through the section of road affected by the crash.
