A blue Alfa Romeo was tracked by police from Innisfail to the near Wangetti Beach on the morning of Ms Cordingley’s death, a court has heard.

Mr Mattock confirmed he had been told by other officers that a blue Alfa Romeo with the registration 053XTC was a vehicle of interest in investigations.

The trial of Rajwinder Singh, the man accused of murdering 24-year-old Toyah Cordingley, resumed on morning, with investigating police officers providing evidence to the court.

Mr Singh, 40, has entered a not guilty plea.
