Cairns Taipans super-fan Paul Law keeps faith ahead of a make or break game against Sydney
A Cairns man who has been following the Taipans for almost 20 than years is convinced the team can win the NBL. This is why.

A Cairns man who has lived, breathed and dreamt of his beloved Taipans for almost 20 years said he believed the team could win their home game on Friday night.
Forest Gardens resident Paul Law who has watched the Snakes play hundreds of games said he was the most happy when he could watch his beloved basketball team in action — win lose or draw.
A veteran member of the Orange Army, Mr Law, 38, is a well-known figure at the home games where he can be seen wearing a pristine jersey signed by the players and chanting.
He has also been lucky enough to catch up with the team on court for photos afterwards.
On the Taipans match against Sydney Kings on Friday night, Mr Law believes the Snakes would win.
“Adam Forde is a great coach,” he said.
“I am sure the Taipans can win and play through into the grand final.”
But even if they lose, Mr Law said he was proud.
“I have been following the Taipans for about 20 years,” he said.
“I love watching them play a good game of basketball.”
