Cairns music tickets: Crooked Colours, Ziggy Alberts to headline Grass is Greener

A jaw dropping line-up has been revealed for one of Cairns’ biggest music festivals and tickets are about to go on sale.

MUSIC fans will be jumping with joy at The Grass is Greener’s line-up announcement with some of the biggest names in Australian music to touch down in Cairns this October.

The festival announced the line-up on Monday morning with headliners of the long-awaited event including electronic dance music trio Crooked Colours and solo singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts.

Other acts that will be sure to excite punters include Young Franco, Boo Seeka, Winston Surfshirt, George Maple and Iyah May.

Rising hip-hop star Jesswar has also been promised to impress and there’ll be a set by the to-be-announced Triple J Unearthed winner.

The festival will feature two multidimensional stages with the Need2Freak stage hosting acts like Nick Skitz ft. Kidd Kaos, Little Fritter, Jordan Brando, Skram, Yanzo, Shimmy Disco and Loods.

“It means so much to us to be able to put this on once again this year,” said The Grass is Greener founder and director Oli Frost.

“Last year we were scared it may never happen again and I am so keen to have one hell of a backyard bash.”

The festival will take place at Cairns Showground on Saturday October 23.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday June 2 at www.thegrassisgreener.com.au
