Cairns
Don't miss out on the headlines from Cairns. Followed categories will be added to My News.
HEAVY weather will not deter the FNQ community from commemorating those who made the supreme sacrifice at the Cairns Dawn Service on Anzac Day.
While organisers across the region are hoping the rain will hold off, according to Cairns RSL Sub-Branch president Jeffrey Langham, it won't make any difference.
He said members will march no matter how stormy the skies are.
“The Dawn Service in Cairns will go ahead no matter the weather,” Mr Langham said.
Mr Langham said the 2021 service went ahead despite the rain and he expects that this year, members will again show their commitment.
