We’re only two rounds into the new Cairns Netball Association Senior Division 1 competition but if the opening fixtures are anything to go by, this season is going to be one of the most tightly-contested in recent years.

Far North netball players will descend on Cairns Netball’s Martyn St courts next month for the annual Fowlers Group Carnival.

The event has been expanded to be held over two days this year, with junior (13-18 years) and senior (15+) competitions on August 22, followed by under-9s to under-13s competitions on August 23.
