A 50-year-old Cleveland woman was last week arrested and charged with two counts of making a bomb hoax - falsely inform a bomb present.

“Police investigations have concluded that the alleged threats were unsubstantiated, and that there was no risk to any children or the community,” a statement from the Queensland Police Service read.

It is alleged the woman was not known to or connected with the school or the childcare.

The woman has been remanded in custody and expected to appear before Cleveland Magistrates Court on Monday.
