Tragedy as young boy drowns at waterhole in Sydney’s West
The young boy was pulled unresponsive from the water before being flown to hospital in a critical condition.

A boy has died after being pulled unconscious from a waterhole in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to Bents Basin following reports a seven-year-old boy being unresponsive after being pulled from the water at 5.15pm on Saturday.
Members of the public performed CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and took over.
The boy was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
