Man charged with attempted murder after woman allegedly set alight in Kingston
A man will front court over the alleged attempted murder of a woman who was set alight in a home south of Brisbane.

A man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly set a woman alight in a suspected domestic violence incident at a home south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to reports of an altercation at a home on Kingston Court, Kingston, where a 34-year-old woman was found with burns to her body about 7.45am on Saturday.
Police will allege a 36-year-old Kingston man had produced a lighter and lit the woman on fire.
Police will also allege that the woman suffered burns to her body as a result of the altercation.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition.
The man has been charged with one count each of attempted murder and common assault.
He is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
A crime scene was established as police launched an investigation into the alleged attempted murder.
Police have established secondary crime scenes at Gould Adams Park on Kingston Rd and the Kingston Train Station.
