Popular snack product recalled over allergen concerns

The recall is over an undeclared allergen, with affected customers urged not to consume the product and return it for a full refund.

A popular snack product has been recalled over an undeclared allergen.

The Nocelle Foods Nature’s Delight 400g Ranger Mix has been recalled.

The product contains the undeclared allergen of peanuts.

“Any consumers who have a cashew allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand recall states.

The product has been available for sale at independent food retailers across South Australia and Western Australia.

The stores include Drakes, Foodland, IGA, IPS, Barossa Fresh, Marla Travellers Rest, Basil’s Fine Foods, and Dulwich Grocery.

“Consumers who have a Cashew allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the alert states.

“Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”
