Footage has emerged of two men brawling on a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali, with it believed the fight broke out over a reclined seat.
The video shows nearby passengers trying to calm down the pair as tempers flared on the packed flight, with the man sitting in the row in front heard saying: “One of us is going to f**king die ... you watch.”
The man wearing a black cap then stands up and launches himself at the other man, with other passengers again intervening.
One woman can be heard telling the two men, “Oi, that’s enough,” as the fight continued, and bystanders then held the two men back from one another.
Five cabin crew members stepped in to separate the men, cooling tensions as the flight continued, with the man in the black hat returning to his seat.
A Jetstar spokesperson confirmed they were investigating the incident.
The spokesperson told NewsWire the airline had a “zero tolerance policy for disruptive and abusive behaviour on our flights”.
“Our crew members are trained to de-escalate incidents involving unruly passengers and we thank them for how they managed this situation,” they said.
