As Australians continue to settle into Autumn a few cold snaps and rainy days are set to continue in several of the nation’s capital cities.
Sydneysiders saw almost a week straight of wet weather heading into the week of the Federal Election, however, are set for some relief in the coming week.
Those in the nation’s capital, however, should gear up for colder weather.
Here’s what each capital city across the country should expect in the coming week.
SYDNEY
Sydney will see partly cloudy skies on Monday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
A slight chance of showers is also forecast for the coast with light showers.
On Tuesday, the capital city will see a mostly sunny day with a chance of fog in Western Sydney.
On Wednesday, Sydneysiders should expect partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers and light winds.
MELBOURNE
Melbourne should see mostly sunny skies on Monday, with a chance of morning fog and a high of 24C and a low of 14C.
On Tuesday, Melbourne will see partly cloudy skies with a chance of a shower. A high of 25C and a low of 16C is forecast.
On Wednesday, the city will see light winds, a chance of showers, a high of 22C and a low of 15C.
BRISBANE
Brisbane will see partly cloudy skies on Monday, with a medium chance of showers. A high of 25C and a low of 17C is expected.
On Tuesday, the capital city will see a chance of showers and a high of 25C and a low of 17C.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with light winds and a high of 27C and a low of 16C.
PERTH
Perth should see partly sunny skies on Monday, with a chance of a morning shower, and a high of 23C and a low of 13C.
On Tuesday, sunny skies are forecast with a high of 24C and a low of 11C.
Wednesday will also be mostly sunny with a high of 27C and a low of 12C.
ADELAIDE
Adelaide will see mostly sunny skies on Monday, with a high of 27C and a low of 17C.
On Tuesday, partly cloudy skies are forecast with a chance of a shower and a high of 23C and a low of 14C.
On Wednesday a chance of showers is forecast, with a high of 21C and a low of 15C.
CANBERRA
Those in the nation’s capital should expect light winds and a mostly clear sky on Monday with a top of 21C and a frosty low of 3C.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 23C and a low of 4C.
On Wednesday, the city should expect light winds and a high of 23C and a low of 5C.
HOBART
In Hobart a mostly sunny day is expected on Monday with a high of 23C and a low of 14C.
On Tuesday, showers are expected with a high of 19 and a low of 14C.
On Wednesday, showers are expected to ease with a high of 17C and a low of 12C.
DARWIN
In Darwin, Monday will see a chance of showers with a high of 33C and a low of 25C.
On Tuesday, Darwin will be mostly sunny with a top of 33C and a low of 25C.
On Wednesday a high of 33C is expected, with a low of 25C.
