Video has emerged of a fight breaking out during the State of Origin at a popular Townsville pub.
The video shows at least a dozen young men fighting – some in Queensland jerseys and some in NSW jerseys – in the midst of State of Origin Game II at the Twin City Hotel in Thuringowa Central.
Police advised they were called around 9:30pm on Wednesday night after reports of people fighting in the beer garden, but the fight fizzled out and police were not required to attend.
No one was reported to be injured.
Twin City Hotel were contacted for comment.
