Geelong’s Junior Country Week has once again exhibited the talents of some of the region’s most talented cricketers.
And our photographer Mark Wilson snapped all the action from two games on Thursday, after Monday fixtures were shifted to later in the week following wet weather.
At Elderslie Reserve in the under-13s tournament, GCA5 took on the visiting Colac3 while the under-15s GCA7 faced GCA9 at Bakers Reserve in Geelong West.
Colac3 would beat GCA5 by 44 runs and go through their three-match run undefeated.
Meanwhile, Archie Waller (53) topscored in a team total of 7-229 (Archie Crabbe 47, Oliver Curtis 26, Harvey Dickens 25) for GCA9 in a 33-run victory over GCA7, with Jacob Waring taking 3-27 to go with his 23 runs.
GCA9 would also go through the tournament undefeated.
