2025-26 NTFL live stream: Watch Wanderers v PINT in Round 9

PINT have secured top spot in the NTFL as their resurgence shows no signs of abating, this time comfortably seeing off the Wanderers. Watch the full Round 9 REPLAY.

PINT’s unstoppable resurgence this season has seen them climb to the top of the NTFL ladder after a convincing 32-point victory over a spirited yet outclassed Wanderers outfit at Tracy Village Oval on Sunday.

Challenged at three-quarter-time when the Muk Muks closed to within 15 points, the Green Ants found another gear to blow the contest apart as they slammed on three quick goals.

The 13.4 (82) to 7.8 (50) win was their sixth of the season and took them to top spot after Nightcliff Tigers inflicted Southern Districts’ first loss of the season when they won by seven points on Saturday.

It has been a remarkable turnaround by PINT after they missed the finals in 2024-25.

Their latest success can be attributed their dominance through the midfield.

PINT big man Brayden Crossley enjoyed day out in the ruck with his precision tap work, enabling onballers James Rowe and Jacob Dawson to rack up big numbers.

Further afield Jak Trewin had an significant influence with three goals, while Noah Spiteri and Bailey Frauenfelder kicked two apiece, as did former AFL Melbourne and Brisbane Lions player Tom Fullarton in his NTFL debut.

Gun Wanderers midfielder Cody Leggett worked overtime to keep his team in the contest and finished with a game-high 26 possessions, while ruckman Tyler Phillips never stopped trying. The big man also kicked three goals.

But key Wanderers’ recruit Frazer Bradley didn’t have the same impact on the scoreboard.

Kicking six goals in his previous game, this time Bradley could only manage one.

Trailing by 22 points at halftime, the first two goals of the third term dragged the Wanderers right back into the contest.

But a fundamental error to defender Thomas Worthley when he rushed the ball over the line without an opponent within 10m of him let PINT off the hook with a subsequent free kick and goal.

A goal to Fullarton after a poor kick-in turnover early in the last quarter eased the pressure even further.

Then a third major to Trewin minutes later blew the margin back beyond four goals before Crossley effectively iced the game with a long goal 10 minutes into the final term.

PREVIEW

PINT have kick started their 2025-26 campaign with gusto, but the Wanderers have unearthed a goalkicking weapon that could give them some concerns in round 9.

Every moment of the match will be live streamed from 4pm on Sunday by The NT News and KommunityTV as part of our season-long NTFL coverage.

WHY TO WATCH

Wanderers’ recruit Frazer Bradley was the standout man against Tiwi in Wanderers’ last outing, scoring six of their eight goals.

It was reflective of his performances for South Australian club Hatherleigh earlier in the year in which he scored 109 goals from 17 games, and the Muk Muks will be hoping he can produce something similar as the season goes on.

Cody Leggett, Billy Shanks and Tyler Phillips are the other big inclusions for the Muk Muks, who are trying to climb up the ladder.

One of the big improvers this season is PINT who sit second on the ladder at the midway point of the season after missing the finals in 2024-25.

Forward recruiting has also been a key reason for PINT’s improvement with Noah Spiteri bursting onto the scene with eight goals on debut a number of weeks ago.

James Rowe remains one of the most influential recruits of the season while the likes of James Boyer and Connor McDonald have also enjoyed huge starts to their year.
