The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in full swing, but as the weekend kicks off, the crowds of buyers are expected to disperse to make way for families to enjoy the spoils of the show.
The show will continue until May 25. Tickets are available for $35 for general admission and $388 for a VIP ticket with access to The Lagoon Beach Club.
Here are 12 highlights from the show:
1. See show’s biggest boat
Cantiere delle Marche’s Pazienza is a whopping 35 metre spectacle and is worth $40m, securing itself as the biggest boat at the show. The vessel is fresh off the back of winning awards at the World Superyacht Awards in Venice. Its palatial nature can only be appreciated in person.
2. On another level
See the Candela C-8, which seems to levitate as it glides over the water. The hydrofoiling boat is 100% electric and 100% carbon fibre. It is part of the Carbon Yachts exhibit at the show, worth $750,000.
3. Caravan meets Boat
For those looking for a caravan that’s also a boat, look no further than Boat A Home. The vessel can be put on a trailer to explore on land, and as a boat it offers all the functionality and convenience of a caravan. A modern Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which starts at $220,000.
4. Sails up
For those keen to see something other than a powerboat, TMG Yachts showed their Lagoon Sixty 5. The luxurious sailing catamaran made its Australian debut at the show.
5. Riviera’s $50m fleet
See the best of the Gold Coast maritime industry at Riviera’s exhibit, a showstopping fleet of 12 boats all designed and built on the Gold Coast.
The combined value of the boats is $50m, and features the premiers of two boats including the Riviera 4300 Sports Express ($1.6m) and the Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II ($6.3m).
6. VIP vibes
The Lagoon Beach Club is where the show’s VIPs are wining, dining and rubbing shoulders with the creme de la creme of the Gold Coast’s social scene.
There’s free flowing Veuve Clicquot and an all-day grazing bar stacked with delicacies to help refuel after a big day at the show.
Tickets for The Lagoon Beach Club are $379, and include access to the show.
7. Become the ultimate adventurer
Enter the draw at the Australian Marine Centre Display for your chance to win a fully kitted Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series, paired with a Bar Crusher 670HT boat. The dream combo for any Aussie adventurer.
8. Wake sports wonder
For the highest level performance in wake sports, without compromising on luxury, drop into the Nautique exhibit. The Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon is their flagship model, and is worth a look for all show-goers.
9. One-Stop Toy Shop
The one exhibit guaranteed to have something for everyone is JSW Powersports. It is a one-stop toy shop with everything from Seabob, Fliteboard and Sea-Doo, to – you guessed it – more boats.
10. Maritimo new launches
Gold Coast boat builder, Maritimo, debuted two reimagined boats at the 2025 boat show, the M50 Flybridge and the S60 Sedan. Both are known and loved models, but the Maritimo team keeps redefining luxury. The M50 Flybridge is worth $2.77m and the S60 starts at $3.5m.
11. On-land luxury
If you get seasick, change tack to luxury on land at the Bentley exhibit. See the newest models of Bentleys – and plenty of other luxury cars – all lined up for your admiration.
12. Next-Gen Marine Safety
Get hands-on with FLIR’s new Ocean Scout Pro thermal monocular. The FLIR exhibit is a must-visit for anyone with plans to be on the water, as its ability to detect human heat in the water could make a big difference in a dangerous situation.
