Have you ever wondered how your Uber rating stacks up in comparison to the rest of the country?
Well, Uber has released some surprising statistics just in time for Christmas, and some Aussies are on the naughty list.
With a glowing average rating of 4.88 out of five, the Gold Coast has been crowned the city with the best passengers, in line with the Sunshine Coast and Cairns.
In fourth place is Newcastle, boasting an impressive 4.86.
Sydney was lucky to make the top ten, with an average 4.83.
In less impressive scenes; Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth all sat below the national average of 4.82, with Perth last on the list at 4.78.
The Northern Territory claimed the throne in top rating per state, with Tassie in close tow and NSW in third place.
Western Australia sits in last place for the third year in a row.
Uber’s rating system is two-way, meaning both riders and drivers are able to give ratings for each other.

According to Uber, there are five easy tricks to bring your rating up to where it belongs.
Ensure you’re ready at the correct pick-up spot, offer a simple greeting when getting in, avoid slamming the doors, clean up your rubbish, and be kind!
