Sydney driver slammed for parking between disabled bays

A Sydney driver has been slammed for a “disgraceful” shopping centre act just days out from Christmas.

A Sydney driver has been slammed as “disgusting” and “entitled” after they were photographed parking their car between two other cars parked in disabled bays in a busy suburban shopping centre.

The photo, which was taken at Westfield Eastgardens, drew intense criticism from a local Facebook group, who quickly pounced on the driver.

“Imagine being that entitled,” one woman commented.

“Seriously everything that is wrong in the world right there,” they said.

Another woman said: “I can’t believe my eyes. What a f’n wanker.”

Another user said: “this is disgusting.”

Another woman said: “Wow. That’s next level entitlement.

“Is this a joke? I can’t believe someone can be so stupid.”

It’s unclear whether the driver has been fined for their opportunistic park, with parking in shopping centres controlled by shopping centre management rather than local councils in NSW.

The driver’s act has competed with another questionable park, this one courtesy of a Melbourne driver.

Victoria Police uploaded a photo on Wednesday morning of a red Mitsubishi wedged between a tree and shopping trolley bay in South Morang on Tuesday morning.

They said a 39-year-old man, who blew more than four times the legal limit, mistook the trolley bay for a parking space on their return home from a Christmas work party.
