What would you do if you won $4.8 million? That’s the question a lucky 20-year-old Glenelg university student gets to ask after an amazing win this week.
The student received an email saying she had won the division one prize in The Lott’s Set For Life draw while sitting in a university lecture on Monday.
She will receive $4.8 million across the next two decades.
The western suburbs player scored the division one prize of $20,000 a month for 20 years.
She said she was overjoyed at the win, but sitting in a lecture theatre, she couldn’t react.
“That was so hard because I just wanted to scream and jump up and down,” she said.
The elated winner said she would love to buy her mum a house with the winnings, as well as one for herself.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry online.
She is the 65th Set for Life division one winner nationally since the game began and the 11th Set for Life division one winner for the year.
