Female hotel worker injured in first of two armed robberies in Adelaide’s western suburbs

A female worker has been bashed in the head by four men armed with crow bars and pool cues who robbed two hotels within 10 minutes in Adelaide’s western suburbs.

A female hotel worker has been taken to hospital after she was bashed during an armed robbery in Adelaide’s western suburbs.

Four men wearing hoodies threatened staff at a bottle shop on Port Rd, Beverley, with crow bars and pool cues before stealing bottles of alcohol.

A woman suffered a cut to the head and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The men fled in a black AWD which is suspected of being involved in another armed robbery at a hotel in West Croydon about ten minutes later.

Police were called to the first incident just after 6.15pm on Monday, with patrols then dispatched to the Torrens Rd Hotel where cash was stolen from a till.
The male offenders — aged between 20 to 30 — were last seen in a black Holden Captiva, registration S311APC.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444.
