DOVER GARDENS

Four people have been charged after being found in a stolen car at Dover Gardens.

Just after 9pm on Wednesday night patrols sighted the stolen Ford station wagon on Yarmouth Road and were able to maintain observations while other patrols made their way to the scene.

Without raising the suspicions of the driver and his three passengers, police were able to set up road spikes at several nearby exit points.

The driver, a 27-year-old Edwardstown man, and his three passengers; a 31-year-old Adelaide man, a 22-year-old O’Sullivan Beach man and a 29-year-old Darlington man were all arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.
