A vintage Jaguar has been towed from outside the Botanic Gardens after it’s engine caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
The Metropolitan Fire Service was called to North Tce, near the Botanic Gardens, just after 5.20pm, following reports a car’s engine had caught fire.
Two fire trucks attended the scene and extinguished the blaze but unfortunately the car sustained extensive damage.
The car was then towed from the scene after dark.
