Two-car crash leads to rollover on the Augusta Highway, between Port Pirie and Port Augusta
There’s been yet another serious crash on one of South Australia’s most dangerous highways, with one of the vehicles involved rolling over between Port Augusta and Port Pirie.

Emergency services have attended a serious car crash involving two vehicles on the Augusta Highway on Monday.
A man was pulled from a flipped car, which came to rest around 15 metres from the side of the highway about 1.30pm.
The male was stretchered by a crew involving CFS and ambulance workers.
SAPOL vehicles remain at the scene of the crash.
The crash followed another incident on the same highway on Friday, where a grain truck rolled over near Crystal Brook.
The truck driver, a 56-year-old from Laura, was injured in the crash and was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not considered life threatening at this time.
Last month it was revealed the Augusta Highway is the most dangerous road in SA, recording the most fatalities in the past five years.
SAPOL confirmed emergency services attending the two-car crash on Augusta Highway, Miranda around 1:30pm this afternoon, with one of the cars leaving the road and rolling due to the crash.
A 31-year-old man from Whyalla was taken to hospital for precautionary measures and a 25-year-old man from Port Augusta escaped with no injuries.
SAPOL are still investigating the cause of the incident with the help of witnesses.
