A man has been reported by police after they seized a large amount of ammunition, guns and explosive devices at a Yorketown property.
With the assistance of the Bomb Operations Unit, police attended an address at Yorketown, on the Yorke Peninsula, just before 2.30pm on Thursday where they conducted a search under the Firearms Act.
Officers located and seized more than 4000 rounds of ammunition, a crossbow, an inert explosive and a semiautomatic rifle.
A local man, 50, was reported for possession of insecure, unlicensed C Class firearm, insecure ammunition and prohibited ammunition.
Police also issued him with a cannabis expiation notice.
