Norwood, Glenelg and Woodville-West Torrens have joined the stack of SANFL clubs to change captains for the 2020 season.
Jack Oatey Medallist Matthew Panos was announced as the Redlegs’ skipper on Tuesday, following the Bays’ appointment of Max Proud earlier this week.
Panos succeeds the outgoing Jace Bode, while Proud replaces premiership captain Chris Curran.
The Eagles are also expected to make a switch with Luke Thompson set to lead the club in his own right after sharing the role with Patrick Guiffreda since 2015.

The trio join James Battersby (Sturt), Alex Spina (North Adelaide) and Luke Habel (Central District) in a raft of captaincy changes at SANFL clubs.
Port Adelaide is also yet to announce a state league captain, although marquee recruit Tyson Goldsack is likely to assume the role, while South Adelaide has not confirmed weather Joel Cross and Matt Rose will continue as joint skippers.
Reliable Glenelg defender Proud’s tenure in the key role is unclear however, with outgoing premiership captain Chris Curran expected to return to the club in 2021.
Curran is spending this season playing for Renmark Rovers while he begins a career in medicine.
The club has even put the No. 5 guernsey – reserved for the Glenelg captain in honour of club legend Peter Carey – on hold for the season.
Stone told the Glenelg players Proud had all the qualities the club was looking for in a captain.
“(Proud) has been with us for 10 years, which is a long time and a big investment,” Stone said in a video posted by the SANFL.
“He’s seen the lowest of the lows with injury and 100-point walloping at the hands of Central ... and recently tasted some of the highs that the game can offer.
“But with his emotional investment, what he’s been through, his toughness and resilience, he’s the perfect man to represent us and be our captain for 2020.”

Proud told his teammates at the announcement that the appointment was an honour.
“This footy club has been my second home for 10 years and even before that I used to come here as a kid,” Proud said.
“What I’ve learnt over those last 10 years is how sure I am of myself and my decisions.
“So that’s probably the biggest thing I’ll take from that and the way I lead is 100 per cent confidence in what I stand for.”
Damaging midfielder Marlon Motlop will be Proud’s vice-captain with Luke Partington, Matthew Uebergang, Luke Reynolds, Andrew Bradley and Cory Gregson filling out the seven-man leadership group.
They replace Curran, Aaron Joseph (retired) and Josh Scott (Jervois).
