The competition will be live streamed by The Advertiser and KommunityTV for the second year running, with an exclusive double header of back-to-back Premier and Reserves games every weekend, as well as all finals.

The coverage will begin in a massive way with a grand final rematch between Contax and Matrics on Friday, April 28.

Netball SA chief Bronwyn Klei said the live streaming deal was especially significant after the success of the 2022 season.

“We’re so excited to have a deal in place yet again because really this is the flagship competition for netball in SA,” Klei said.

“We’ve got hundreds of thousands of people involved in netball here in South Australia each year and to be able to put the best netballers in the state on show for them is fantastic.

“It becomes appointment viewing for fans and members every week.”

The Premier League has seen one of its busiest pre-seasons to date, with a number of star players switching guernsey for the 2023 campaign.

Klei said player movements had resulted in a more even competition after multiple years of Matrics and Contax dominance.

“The competition has evened out a bit and there’s been a lot of player movement involving a few marquee names which is really exciting.

“It’s going to lift the competition and we think we’re in store for one of the most entertaining and intriguing seasons we’ve seen.”

News Sport Network managing director Michael Wilkins said KommunityTV was gearing up for another cracking season of Netball SA Premier League.

“The partnership with Netball South Australia got off to a great start in 2022, and we are pleased to be able to extend that alliance over the next three seasons,” Wilkins said.

“While last season went down to the wire between fierce rivals Contax and Matrics, 2023 provides a new opportunity for all sides in the elite state competition.

“The extension of our partnership with Netball SA comes off the back of a renewed push to cover the best in the sport across our multiple news platforms, most notably Code Sports.

“It is also fitting to announce this extension in the week leading up to International Women’s Day and at the height of our women’s sport series, Insight Sport, as News Corp Australia shines a light on the many women participating and running sport at all levels across the country.”
