“Pembroke has had some talented cricket sides in the past however we wanted to create history and be the school’s first T20 championship winning team.

“The boys bought in and did the hard work, claiming important victories along the way over Rostrevor, PAC (Prince Alfred College) and St Peter’s.

“These wins gave us great confidence and belief and each player played a part on the way to winning the competition.

“It is great reward for the players and a significant moment in the school’s cricketing history. “Adelaide High was a strong opponent and played a great game in what was a magnificent game of schoolboy cricket.”
