Local SA footy’s country and suburban competitions are packed with top drawer talent so we’ve ranked the state’s top 150 players of 2024. See who made the cut.

Local SA footy’s suburban and country competitions have long been stacked with top drawer talent and season 2024 has been no exception.

With what has been a fantastic season drawing nearer to a close, we’ve drawn from almost every competition across SA to rank the state’s top 150 local footballers of 2024.

Here are our rankings from 150 to 1.

150. KADE HILTON

(Waikerie, Riverland Football League)

This year’s Riverland FL medallist, Hilton has starred for Waikerie.

A skilled onballer who covers ground as well as anyone in the competition, Hilton wins plenty of his own footy and finds teammates efficiently while under pressure.

Has 27 goals and 10 best player nods in 18 games.

149. HENRY LAWRIE

(Robe, Mid South Eastern Football League)

Joining from Kingston in 2023, Lawrie has been a superstar for Robe during what has been a strong two years for the club.

The top performer for the Roosters this season, Lawrie fights hard in the contest and deals to teammates at a high efficiency.

Has 12 best player appearances and 15 goals in 17 games and also claimed the Mail Medal.

148. KIEREN NELSON

(Plympton, Adelaide Footy League)

A top performer for the Bulldogs through a number of years, Nelson has had a strong 2024 season.

Versatile player who can dominate the contest with his ability to win the footy and find teammates efficiently while under pressure.

Has nine best player mentions and three goals in his 14 games.

147. HARRY TUNKIN

Joint winner of this year’s Mail Medal, Tunkin has become one of the top young players in local SA footy.

A tireless player through the middle who racks up high disposal counts each week and damages the opposition with his distribution around the ground.

Has 12 best player nods and 11 goals in 16 weeks and was a standout in the SA Country Championships.

146. ALEX STIDIFORD

(Coorong, River Murray Football League)

Last year’s RMFL Mail Medallist, Stidiford has had another strong campaign with the Cats.

Hard at the contest and efficient by hand and foot, Stidiford can damage the opposition in a number of ways and always rises to the occasion.

Has eight best player nods and four goals in 17 games and has been a standout in finals.

145. DANIEL MINNEY

(Marble Range, Port Lincoln Football League)

The talented midfielder has continued his elite performances for Marble Range in the PLFL this season after arriving from Woodville-West Torrens in 2021.

The SA Country Championships player is a strong body who can outmuscle opponents in the contest and up front to create for teammates with top drawer distribution around the ground.

Has 13 best player nods and seven goals in 16 games.

144. JOSH KOSTER

(Bute, Yorke Peninsula Football League)

Arriving from South Mildura ahead of the 2024 season, Koster has provided a major boost in the Roosters midfield.

The former Glenelg man is a tough player in the contest who wins plenty of the footy and can also boot goals when up front.

Has 23 majors and 10 best player nods in his 18 games.

143. AUSTIN POULTON

(Freeling, Barossa Light and Gawler Football Association)

Poulton finished third in the 2023 Mail Medal count as a 19-year-old and continued his strong form to finish fifth this year.

A smooth mover through the midfield with a reliable kick, Poulton has been the key to the Redlegs midfield.

Has nine best player nods and 13 goals in 15 games.

142. HARLEE CHANDLER

Joining Cummins Rambler for 2024 following another strong season for Western United last year, Chandler has been at his best in 2024.

One of the most promising young players in local SA footy, the 21-year-old is versatile enough to play in any line and boasts brilliant aerial ability.

Relentless in the contest with the ability to find teammates anywhere on the ground and also finish for goal, Chandler has 11 majors and 10 best player nods in 11 games and was also an SA Country member this year for the second consecutive season.

141. DYLAN WHIMPRESS

(Nairne Bremer, Hills Football League)

Best on ground in last year’s winning grand final for Nairne Bremer, Whimpress has been impressive for the Rams again this year while balancing his local footy performances with a SANFL career with the Crows.

A silky left-footer who breaks lines with his explosive run and carry, Whimpress is his side’s best user of the footy and one of the most damaging players in the competition.

Has 19 goals and six best player performances in 15 games.

140. SAM BASHAM

(Victor Harbor, Great Southern Football League)

A superstar goalkicker for the Roos this year, Basham has thrived up front after the club’s midfield additions.

A strong and smart player who leads well, takes big marks and kicks bags of goals.

Has 103 majors and seven best player nods in 19 games.

139. JAKE RUSSO

(Salisbury North, Adelaide Footy League)

The Hawks have been the div two pace setters so far this year and much of their success has been due to the performances of Russo in ruck.

A skilled big man with the ability to service his mids with strong tap-work and also take big marks and push forward.

Has seven best player performances and eight goals in 15 games.

138. JACKSON HOOPER

(Southern Eagles, Yorke Peninsula Football League)

Hooper has made a major splash in the YPFL since arriving from the Hills last season.

The former Bridgewater-Callington star and 2021 HFL Mail Medallist is a running machine who wins and distributes the ball at an efficient rate.

Has 11 best player appearances and 12 goals in 17 games.

137. DECLAN FAHEY

(Glenunga, Adelaide Footy League)

A promising utility who can play a number of roles, former North Adelaide League and Reserves footballer Fahey has fit Nathan Grima’s Glenunga side well so far this season.

Fahey is a strong player who is reliable overhead and accurate by hand or foot and can also hit the scoreboard.

Has 16 goals and seven best player nods in 15 games.

136. ED SMART

Former Norwood gun Smart joined Onkaparinga Valley for 2024 after a number of seasons in the VAFA and has been a star for the Bulldogs.

Smart has the ability to play in almost any role and has no issue winning a hard ball for his side and dealing to teammates accurately under pressure.

Has eight best player nods in 13 games.

135. NIC COUROUPIS

(Henley, Adelaide Footy League)

Former West Adelaide player Couroupis has been one of Henley’s standouts so far this year.

A hard-nosed inside midfielder known for his strong defensive work and explosiveness from the contest.

Has eight best player performances and 12 goals in 14 games.

134. LUKE TRENORDEN

(Central Yorke, Yorke Peninsula Football League)

Trenorden has been at the top of his game in the 2024 season.

A star ruck/forward utility who can have a big impact in either position, the Cougars playing-coach is a strong and athletic player who takes big grabs and can boot bags of goals.

Has 37 goals and nine best player appearances in 17 games.

133. TIM WOOLFORD

(Renmark, Riverland Football League)

Woolford has produced another impressive year for Renmark.

A versatile gun who can produce top performances on the ball and also provide security behind it, Woolford racks up high disposals and finds teammates with ease.

Has 15 best player nods in 18 games.

132. COOPER O’LEARY

(Broadview, Adelaide Footy League)

Improving for Broadview during each A Grade season, O’Leary has become one of the Tigers’ best players.

A tough and tireless competitor through the middle, O’Leary is a great user of the ball and can also burn opponents with pace.

Has nine best player mentions and eight goals in 18 games.

131. JORDAN HEIN

(Mypolonga, River Murray Football League)

A versatile midfielder, Hein has starred for Mypolonga so far this season after time with Sturt in 2023.

Hein is a strong player in the contest who wins important possessions for the Tigers, deals to teammates efficiently and can also hit the scoreboard or provide security behind the ball.

Has 11 best player performances in 17 games.

130. TOM PILLION

(Henley, Adelaide Footy League)

A star forward for the Sharks, Pillion has been a standout this season.

Has a high work rate and is one of the best forwards to watch in division three with his ability to crash packs in the air or work cleanly off of the deck to win contested possessions for Henley.

Has 10 best player performances and 50 goals in 19 games.

129. DANIEL NOBES

(Hope Valley, Adelaide Footy League)

One of local SA footy’s most iconic forwards, Nobes produced another solid year for Hope Valley in division three.

Mobile for his size and a strong option inside 50, Nobes takes big marks and can kick bags of goals or set up his teammates to damage opposition.

Has 34 majors and four best player nods in 12 games.

128. KURTIS PHILLIPS

(Westminster OS, Adelaide Footy League)

A star ruck for Westminster OS, Phillips has been dominant in division four.

The Dragons gun can dominate in the ruck with consistent tap work and clean skills and also covers ground well to provide a strong marking presence.

Has 20 best player nods and six goals in 21 games and has helped the Dragons to thegrand final.

127. MICHAEL MAZEY

(Christies Beach, Southern Football League)

A skilled and versatile player who can take over a game for Christies Beach, Mazey has been a star since arriving back to the club after a Mail Medal year in the Port Lincoln FL for Lincoln South.

Mazey can have an impact on the ball as well as up front, dominating in the air and also hitting the contest hard as a big-bodied mid.

Has 12 best player nods and 19 goals through 19 games for the Saints.

126. JAYDEN DAVISON

(Kilburn, Adelaide Footy League)

Davison has been one of Kilburn’s best yet again this season after an impressive 2023 campaign for the club.

A tireless midfielder who wins important possessions in the contests for his side and also hits the scoreboard consistently, the former North Adelaide player is a reliable distributor and one of the hardest in the competition to stop.

Has 13 best player nods and 14 goals in his 20 games and has helped the Chics to a grand final.

125. SAM JONAS

(Western Districts, Kangaroo Island Football League)

The former Sturt, Rostrevor OC and Ceduna gun joined Western Districts alongside brother Tom Jonas for this season and has dominated around the ground for his new club.

A strong and versatile player who can do damage on, behind or ahead of the ball, Jonas wins plenty of his own footy, is reliable in the air and efficient by hand or foot.

Has eight best player appearances and 10 goals in 10 games.

124. KYLE CROMPTON

(Roopena)

Crompton has been a force for the club since his return from a successful tenure with Glenelg during which he won the 2022 reserves Magarey Medal.

A ball magnet and a clearance machine in the middle, Crompton’s tackle pressure and elite ball use makes him the best player in the Whyalla FL.

Has 11 best player nods and 16 goals in 12 games.

123. NICK MOTT

A versatile tall who can damage sides in a number of ways, Noarlunga champion Nick Mott has been at his best in the SFL so far this season.

Mott can dominate in the ruck to give his mids first look at it and can also have a positive impact up front with his ability to take big marks and finish for goal.

Has 15 best player mentions and 14 goals in 18 games.

122. LACHLAN MAY

(Nairne Bremer, Hills Football League)

A dominant key position player for Nairne Bremer, May has been a major key to his side’s success over the past two seasons.

May provides a strong and athletic presence at the back, locking down forwards with exceptional aerial contests and clean skills and has also played up front after the departure of Darcy Hourigan.

Has 10 goals and 10 best player nods in 17 games.

121. ZANE MONTGOMERIE

(Lincoln South, Port Lincoln Football League)

Star Lincoln South captain Zane Montgomerie has been a force again this year after leading the Eagles to their first PLFL flag in 20 years last season.

A dominant and versatile leader who can play across the backline or through the middle, Montgomerie has the ability to impact every contest on the ground and in the air to either spoil, take big marks or dispose efficiently to teammates.

Has eight best player nods in 15 games and also represented SA Country.

120. HAYDEN JOLLY

Jolly has been strong for PAOC yet again this season, impressing at halfback and in the contest.

A strong and creative player with a high footy IQ, Jolly can take big marks to intercept attacks and is one of the best distributors in the competition.

Has four best player performances and five goals in 16 games.

119. TYLER ECKERT

(Prop/Risdon, Spencer Gulf Football League)

The Lions champion has been a star so far this year after yet another impressive season in 2023.

A versatile player who can take control of a game in the centre and also boot goals or provide elite run and ball-use off of the backline, Eckert has been a standout in the SGFL for years.

Has 12 best player nods and 13 goals in 19 games.

118. WILL RIVERS

Returning to Brighton this season, local SA footy veteran Rivers produced yet another strong season.

A skilled key position player who can do a job at the back and also star up front for the Bombers, Rivers can take over a game with his ability to take big marks and kick important goals.
Has 34 goals and eight best player nods in 18 games.

117. JORDAN HOULAHAN

(Mt Barker, Hills Football League)

Former Essendon and sturt player Houlahan has been strong for Mt Barker again this year.

A skilled and athletic forward who knows his way around goal, Houlahan can boot bags of majors or set his teammates up with crafty disposal.

Has 52 goals and four best player performances in 16 games.

116. BRODIE LATHAM

(Tea Tree Gully, Adelaide Footy League)

An athletic and skilled player up front, Latham has been one of his club’s best.

Hits contests with courage in the air or at ground level and provides a reliable forward option for the Gullies with consistent goalkicking.

Has 45 goals and eight best player mentions in 18 games.

115. JAIDAN KAPPLER

(Bordertown, Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football League)

The former Noarlunga star and Crows SANFL player has been a standout for Bordertown in the KNTFL.

A powerful and athletic player who wins plenty of the footy and does significant damage on the outside with his run and delivery.

Has seven best player nods and 12 goals in 11 games.

114. RILEY CLAMP

(Hahndorf, Hills Football League)

Joining Hahndorf after another strong season with Strathalbyn in the Great Southern FL and with Adelaide in the SANFL, Clamp has been the injection the Magpies needed up front after their grand final loss in 2023.

An athletic and strong player across the forwardline who can also have an impact around the ground with his marking ability and efficient disposal.

Has 65 goals and six best player nods in 15 games.

113. JAMES SCHWARZ

Schwarz has been a weapon for Flinders Park yet again this season.

A skilled and relentless player in close through the contest, Schwarz attacks the footy fearlessly for the Reds and deals to teammates with ease off either boot.

Has 10 best player appearances and eight goals in 20 games.

112. CLINT GALLIO

(Mt Burr, Mid South Eastern Football League)

Former Millicent superstar Gallio has been at his best after joining MSEFL side Mt Burr as playing-coach.

A strong midfielder who covers ground exceptionally well and always rises to the occasion, Gallio wins a stack of contested possessions each week and can also hit the scoreboard.

111. LUKE HABEL

Joining the Hawks as playing-coach after a strong SANFL career with Central District, Habel has been instrumental in his side’s success so far this year.

The reserves best and fairest for the Bulldogs last year, Habel leads his side well and works hard around the ground to find the footy and hit teammates with precision.

110. JOSH SCHILLER

(Edwardstown, Adelaide Footy League)

Schiller has been a star for Towns yet again in 2024.

An athletic and skilled player by hand and foot who can play anywhere around the ground and finds plenty of the ball.

Has 13 best player mentions in 18 games.

109. LUKE MITTON

(McLaren, Great Southern Football League)

A former star with South Adelaide, Mitton has been among the top GSFL players so far this year.

Mitton has been a key cog through the middle for McLaren, dominating sides with his damaging run and carry and accurate disposal.

Has nine best player nods and 15 goals through 12 games and will be an important finals player.

108. HENRY PAPATOLIS

Dual division two best and fairest Papatolis has been a standout for the Phantoms yet again this year.

A hardworking and athletic midfielder who is relentless in the contest, Papatolis wins plenty of the ball for his side and distributes as well as anyone while also hitting the scoreboard on occasion.

Has 11 best player nods and seven goals in 14 games.

107. COREY DAVEY

(Solomontown, Spencer Gulf Football League)

The winner of the 2022 and 2023 Spencer Gulf FL medal, Davey has produced another standout season for Solomontown to help the Cats to the grand final.

The big-bodied midfielder has dominated on the ball since his return from the Crows’ SANFL side and has also made his mark as an unstoppable player inside 50.

Has 11 best player mentions and 26 goals in 17 games.

106. MARC BORHOLM

The 2023 SFL Mail Medallist has not quite matched his output of last season but has still been integral for the Wineflies.

An all-round asset for the Wineflies after they lost star Cam McGree to Glenelg in the 2022 pre-season, Borholm damages opposition with strong aerial ability and tap work and also finishes well in front of goal.

Has four best player performances and 26 goals in 13 games.

105. SAM WILLIAMS

(Hahndorf, Hills Football League)

Hahndorf’s star leader remains one of the dominant forces of the Hills FL in season 2024, inspiring his club to a remarkable undefeated season so far.

Providing a strong presence in the contest and around the ground, Williams’ all-round skillset makes him one of the most important Magpies players.

Has 12 best player nods in 17 games.

104. NICK KRAEMER

(Prop/Risdon, Spencer Gulf Football League)

This year’s SGFL Mail Medallist, Kraemer has been a star for Prop/Risdon and in interleague in 2024.

A bull in the contest who has no issue winning the contested footy for the Lions, Kraemer is an excellent decision maker under pressure and can also impact the scoreboard with efficient finishing.

Has 16 best player nods and 31 goals in 19 games.

103. ZAC BATES

The former Geelong and West Adelaide gun has been one of the Cougars’ most damaging players with his lethal leg speed and reliable left foot.

Bates plays both midfield and halfback and has been one of the YPFL’s most potent players with ball in hand.

102. JONNIE READ

(St Peter’s Old Collegians)

SPOC’s top player in season 2024, Read has produced another big year in division one.

A strong key position player who can stand on some of the competition’s best forwards and also move up front to take big marks and hit the scoreboard.

Has 28 goals and four best player performances in 18 games.

101. ZAC SMITH

(Glenunga, Adelaide Footy League)

A strong key back who battles hard each week, Smith has been an important player for the Rams yet again.

Can stand on any forward and do a job with his ability to compete in their air and at ground level and distributes well out of the backline.

Has six best player nods in 18 games for his club this year.

100. CAMERON BALL

(Rostrevor OC, Adelaide Footy League)

Joining Rostrevor OC after time with Norwood last season, Ball has been a major standout for the club.

A consistent defender during his time with the Redlegs, Ball has been of major importance for ROCS with his ability to win aerial and ground level contests and hit targets around the ground.

Has nine best player performances through 15 games.

99. TOM CORCORAN

(Angaston, Barossa Light and Gawler Football Association)

Former Port Adelaide Magpie Corcoran has been one of Angaston’s most important players this season.

Corcoran’s ability to take over a game from the backline and have an impact through the middle with contested ball work makes him a star.

Has picked up nine best player mentions and kicked 14 goals in 16 games.

98. KAINE STEVENS

(Goodwood, Adelaide Footy League)

Joining Goodwood after time in Victoria, former West Adelaide gun Stevens has been the best player for his club this year.

Damaging in the contest and up front, Stevens is a powerful player who wins plenty of his own footy, takes strong marks and finishes for himself or sets up opportunities for others.

Has seven best player nods and 15 goals in 13 games.

97. SAM HANNA

(Gumeracha, Hills Country Division)

The Hills Country Division medal winner in 2021, 2022 and 2023, Hanna has produced another strong season for Gumeracha.

A strong and skilled player with safe hands and elite disposal by foot, Hanna has the ability to play anywhere on the ground, often dominating on the ball before moving up front or to the back if needed.

Has 10 best player nods and 19 goals in 15 games.

96. DARREN SHILLABEER

(Myponga-Sellicks, Great Southern Football League)

Joining the Mudlarks as playing-coach after a number of dominant seasons with Barossa District, Shillabeer has been a force and the standout key forward in the GSFL.

A strong player who takes big marks, executes smart leads up front and can boot goals from anywhere, Shillabeer has been unstoppable for Myponga-Sellicks and has guided his team to a strong 2024 so far.

Has six best player nods and 92 goals in 20 games.

95. REECE MILSOM

(Flagstaff Hill, Southern Football League)

Milsom has been impressive for the Falcons again this year after arriving from South Adelaide before the 2023 season.

A talented midfielder who distributes well by hand or foot, Milsom racks up contested possessions and sets his teammates up with ease.

Has 12 best player mentions and five goals through 15 games.

94. LUKE RANDER

Athelstone’s captain has put together another strong season for the Raggies in division two.

Rander is a strong and athletic forward who can impact play around the ground or do major damage up front with his aerial ability, disposal to others and finishing prowess.

Has 36 goals and six best player performances in 19 games.

93. JUSTIN HOSKIN

(Willaston, Barossa Light and Gawler Football Association)

Former Central District gun Hoskin has produced a dominant season for Willaston in the BLG.

A skilled midfield/forward utility who covers ground well, racks up contested possessions and also hit the scoreboard with ease.

Has 12 best player nods and 30 goals in 17 games and finished third in the medal count.

92. RORY TAGGERT

While Taggert took some time to find his feet at Mypolonga after joining from Naracoorte, the former Melbourne and Sturt forward has still been one of the most talented players in the competition.

A versatile forward who can have an impact around the ground, Taggert takes big grabs, makes important contests and can kick bags of goals.

Has 46 majors and five best player performances in 18 games.

91. RYAN LLEWELLYN

(Modbury, Adelaide Footy League)

Llewellyn has starred at the back again this year after a dominant 2023.

An imposing and skilled defender who can dominate in the air and is clean off the ground, Llewellyn can take over a game at the back and is one of the competition’s most accurate distributors.

Has 12 best player nods in 19 games.

Warton has had an outstanding season in the midfield for Rostrevor OC.

30. WILL COMBE

Combe has been a star for hometown club Crystal Brook since returning after a strong career with North Adelaide in the SANFL.

The gun onballer was part of the 2022 SANFL Advertiser Team of the Year and has continued his form at local level since, hunting the ball in the contest to either set up teammates with precise disposal or hit the scoreboard himself.

One of the best runners and athletes in the NAFA, Combe has 15 best player nods in 16 games, has booted 32 goals and was one of SA Country’s best against WA Country.

29. MATT ROSE

A damaging halfback/wing this year who reads the play as well as anyone, provides important run and carry and top drawer distribution.

28. LACHLAN MCNAMARA

A longtime star for the reigning D1 premier, PAOC captain McNamara has been at his best so far in 2024.

McNamara is one of his side’s most damaging players and can fill a number of roles, using his clean skills and impressive distribution or finishing in front of goal to cause problems for opposition.

27. LEWIS JOHNSTON

This year’s HFL Mail Medallist, former Sturt player Hone has had a strong season with the Devils.

A star around the ground for his side, Hone wins plenty of the contested footy, cuts opposition up with his disposal and can also hit the scoreboard.

25. SEB KERRISH

A star halfback who can move up and down the flanks as well as anyone, Kerrish has been at his best for SHOC this season.

An explosive player with a damaging leg, Kerrish can intercept attacks and cut opposition up with elite distribution and remains one of his side’s most consistent weapons.

The former West Adelaide and Woodville-West Torrens SANFL League player can control the backline with ease, reading deliveries to take big intercept marks and also distributing at a high efficiency to teammates up the ground.

23. JORDAN WEST

The former Woodville-West Torrens big has been a major boost in the ruck for Glenunga this season.

West is a strong and skilled player who has had standout performances against some of the top division’s best sides, impressing in the ruck and also impacting the game around the ground and in front of goal.

22. NATHANIEL PAREDES

An athletic and versatile player for the Roos, Beard can have an impact through the middle, behind the ball or up front, displaying brilliant skill overhead and by either foot or hand as well as the ability to find teammates when under pressure.

Has 67 majors through his 13 games so far and is a major chance to lead his side to a grand final appearance.

19. CAM SHENTON

A versatile weapon with the ability to play back or in the contest, Shenton wins plenty of the footy for the Kookaburras and is one of his side’s most reliable in disposal.

18. BRAD MCKENZIE

McKenzie boasts clean skills off of the deck and by hand and foot and his ability to impact a game at the back or through the midfield makes him one of PNU’s most dangerous players.

A versatile utility who can play up front or do damage in the contest, Glenn is a strong and athletic player who boasts great hand and foot skills and can take a game by the scruff of the neck with his all-round ability.

16. JOEY HAINES

The former South Adelaide gun reads play well, boasts great ability overhead and can damage opposition with penetrating disposal.

15. SAM COLQUHOUN

The Magpies star can play a number of roles around the ground and has guided his club to top spot through his standout play and leadership, dominating the contest, cutting opposing defences up with his disposal and also hitting the scoreboard.

The former Port Adelaide and Sturt star has 30 goals and 11 best player performances in 16 games.

14. JAKE PITMAN

Former Norwood gun Pitman has played at a high level yet again for the Kookaburras this season.

A ball magnet who is a skilled and efficient user, Pitman loves doing the dirty work in the contest for Golden Grove and often helps to create a number of goalkicking opportunities for his side each week.

Has 11 best player nods and seven goals in 19 games and finished runner-up in the div one medal.

13. BRETT TURNER

The biggest signing in the Hills FL this season, Turner has dominated for Echunga since joining the club after a starring SANFL career with Glenelg and the Crows.

A big-bodied midfielder who can damage the opposition around the ground, Turner is a contested footy machine who racks up clearances with ease and can also hit the scoreboard.

Has 15 best player nods and 18 goals in his 16 games and has been a positive for Echunga during a challenging season results-wise for the club so far.

12. BRYCE GIBBS

One of the biggest signings in local SA footy for 2024, Gibbs has been a standout in a number of roles for Victor Harbor so far.

A hard runner who covers ground as well as anyone in the competition, Gibbs boasts exceptional skills in the air and at ground level and has also performed while up front with his ability to finish.

Has six best player mentions and 23 goals in 12 games and will undoubtedly be one to watch in the GSFL grand final.

11. SAM GRAY

The former Port Adelaide and Sydney player has been a weapon since arriving at Port District in 2022 and is having another strong campaign.

10. BEN KENNEDY

7. BEN HEASLIP

Heaslip joined Victor Harbor alongside former South Adelaide teammate Bryce Gibbs ahead of this season and has been the standout player in the GSFL since.

Starring through the midfield, Heaslip’s big tank, ability to win hard contests in the air or at ground level and either set his teammates up for goal or create chances for himself makes him one of the toughest players to combat in the competition.

Has 14 best player nods and 14 goals in 15 games for the top spot Roos.

6. MITCH GRIGG

5. JACK TRENGOVE

A workhorse on the ball who wins plenty of his own footy and provides damaging run and carry, Trengove is one of the best distributors in the South East and sets up teammates with a number of goalkicking opportunities.

4. DANIEL MENZEL
