The September 11 preliminary finals and September 18 grand finals will also be streamed live.

“Making a semi-final is a wonderful achievement for both teams and something we’re definitely proud of,” Morton said.

“Having both teams make the grand final is an extremely rare feat and something we’re striving for.

“We’re looking forward to the weekend and for what our finals campaign holds.”

Morton said the men are locked in and ready for their Saturday game against North East.

“They’re ready to go. The group is well-equipped with plenty of finals experience and we’re all looking forward to the challenge on Saturday.”

“We’ve had some tough games against North East during the minor rounds and I anticipate Saturday to be no different.

“Finals is a different beast though, and if we can focus on controlling what we can and stay disciplined we can get the win.”

Grist believes the team has the right mix of players to be successful.

“This group has played in quite a few finals now so I think that holds us in really good stead,” she said.

“We’ve had a strong season this year and have seen some of our younger players really step up as well so we’re looking forward to seeing what we can do.”

Sunday’s semi-finals are headlined by top side Port Adelaide locking horns with second-placed Adelaide at 6pm.

Adelaide’s attack is one to be feared, scoring 108 goals – over 30 more than anyone else in the Premier League competition.

Port Adelaide player Scott Germein said his side needs to put together a full performance to win.

“All our games against Adelaide this year have been hotly contested so we need to put in a four-quarter performance,” he said.

“We’ve had a good season and now have a double chance in finals. We missed out on the grand final last year so we have some unfinished business.”

Seacliff coach Matt Morton said the women’s team is as driven as the men’s side heading into its 4pm semi-final against Port Adelaide on Sunday.

“The group has been professional and diligent throughout the season and has performed impressively in the minor rounds,” he said.

“Port Adelaide has been the pinnacle of SA hockey for many years, but it is a challenge we are definitely looking forward to and we’re expecting a close encounter.”

All games will be live streamed from the State Hockey Centre right here.
