The Adelaide lawn bowls season rolled into its 10th round this week and The Messenger has crunched the numbers for every bowler across Metro Bowls Association divisions.
With more than 10,000 hitting the green so far during the 2022-2023 season, we’ve compiled the full rankings of each participant by shot difference – a result of shots scored by a player, and shots scored ahead of, or against, a player.
Male and female, junior and senior bowlers across all competitive divisions in Adelaide have been included.

Wednesday Division 4 East bowler Lorenzo Dissegna – who represents Hawthorn – has been the most effective so far this season with 270 shots and a shot difference of 162.
His side is off to a fast start this campaign with seven wins and two losses.
The Adelaide Bowling Club has strong representation inside the top five, with Corey Hicks and Scott Thulborn both in tied fourth place.
Seventeen-year-old Hicks has been competing in his first senior season and said his development had been made easier under the tutelage of Thulborn – a World Singles Championship winner and one of Australia’s standout bowlers.
“I’ve been at Adelaide for my whole eight-year career and the club has been huge for me in every way,” Hicks said.
“Scott is just fantastic as well – he’s one of Australia’s best and does everything for you in terms of support and advice without expecting anything back.”
Hicks has enjoyed significant success through the past year, most recently finishing runner-up in the Australian U18 singles championship and runner-up in the open club singles championships.
The young star believed he could achieve further success this season.
“I’d like to think I have what it takes to stay consistent and perform at a high level in the Premier side,” he said.
“I think we can win a flag this season and hopefully I can continue to develop and eventually make the Australian Jackaroos side, but that’s a bit down the line.”
