Adelaide City and White City chase silverware in tomorrow's Federation Cup final

SA SOCCER heavyweights Adelaide City and White City will hope to spark new generations of success when they face-off in tomorrow's Federation Cup final.
The Black and Whites will be aiming for a record 16th cup win at Hindmrash Stadium
and their first since their 2007 triumph over MetroStars.
However, the Oakden-based club, which first won the cup as Juventus back in 1950, has gone three years without winning a trophy.
City vice-captain Jonathan Negus said breaking the mini-drought was his side's motivation heading into the final.
"We've been a little spoiled for success in the past and for it to dry up over the last couple of years, I think it's really important to grab this trophy," the 29-year-old said.
"This is the start of a new dynasty, we've got a whole group of new players and we're just starting to hit our straps now."
Adelaide City, which sits second in the Premier League, booked its place in the decider with a comfortable 4-0 semi-final win over Campbelltown City last week thanks to goals by Joel Allwright, Anthony Costa, Nicholas Bucco and Matt Mullen.
Despite beating White City 4-1 in a league clash a fortnight ago, Negus expected a closer encounter tomorrow.
"We beat them pretty convincingly, but we are expecting to see a totally different (White City) team," he said.
White City meanwhile will be searching for cup win number six and its first major silverware since 2005.
The Warriors made the final after a stunning 4-3 semi-final win over Adelaide Blue Eagles.
Trailing by two early goals, the Woodville-based side fought back through strikes from skipper Michael Keens, in-form striker Lloyd Owusu and a double from talented youngster Nikola Milusenic.
Skipper Keens said his side, which sits 10th in the Premier League, would need to show similar fighting spirit to upset the odds in the final.
"It (fighting spirit) is something that White City as a club has and as a team," Keens, 32, said.
"There's no doubt we are underdogs, but the club and our supporters still believe we can go and beat Adelaide City and win the final."
Despite inconsistent league form, the Warriors have scored 14 goals on their road to the final.
Keens said continuing their goalscoring form while tightening up at the back would be key to rewarding their loyal fans.
"The supporters at White City are unbelievable - they are so passionate and this club means everything to them," he said.
"It would be good for us as players to give back to the supporters and win something for them."
The final kicks off at 3pm. The reserves final between Blue Eagles and Para Hills kicks off at 12.30pm and the under-19 final between Adelaide City and Cumberland United begins at 10am.
