Two people hospitalised after man, 99, crashes car into back of Unley house
Two people have been injured after a 99-year-old driver crashed through two fences and into a home near a busy Unley shopping centre.
A 99-year-old man and his passenger have been hospitalised after their car crashed into the back of an Unley house on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Mary St, Unley about 12.20pm after reports of a single vehicle crash.
A Kia sedan left the road and crashed through two fences, into the rear of a home.
Police said the 99-year-old male driver and his passenger, a 66-year-old woman, both from Flagstaff Hill, were taken to hospital by ambulance “as a precaution”.
The Kia, a write-off, was towed from the scene.
SES attended to assess the property for structural damage.
Police said an investigation into the crash was continuing.
