SA Police are investigating a concerning incident where a southern suburbs boy was approached by a car full of men.

Just after 4pm on Thursday, a teenage boy reported that he was approached by four men in a car while he walked along Dyson Road in Christie Downs.

A black sedan stopped alongside the boy and a man in the passenger seat spoke to him.

The car then appeared to follow the boy a few more times before leaving the area.

The man who spoke to the boy is described as wearing a white top and having tattoos on his shoulders.

On Friday morning, a Facebook post warning parents of the incident attracted more than 100 comments from concerned locals.

“That poor boy, thank God he got away,” one woman said.

The investigation comes just days after police were called to Grange Primary School after two reports of strangers in cars approaching students.

On Thursday, police moved to reassure parents the incidents were thoroughly investigated and did not require further action.
