A Mercedes-driving chef will face a trial after allegedly selling a 16-year-old girl Xanax before dropping her back near her southern suburbs school.
Michael Dimitros Roros, 34, pleaded not guilty to one count of selling a controlled drug to a child on March 3, of this year.
Earlier this year, police alleged a 16-year-old arranged to meet Mr Roros at the Aberfoyle Park Shopping Centre on Friday March 3, with the intent to buy drugs.
“She told police she met him and followed him to his Mercedes, he supplied her with one Xanax tablet when they reached his car,” the prosecutor said.
“He drove her to another location and made her consume the Xanax tablet.”
It was further alleged Roros had forced the 16-year-old to perform sexual acts on him while they were in the car.
However, all the charges relating to engaging in sexual intercourse without consent and unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under 17 years were withdrawn earlier this month.
“After this she (the victim) told police she left the vehicle and walked back to school,” the prosecutor said.
The matter will return to court next year.
