An Encounter Bay man has faced court after he was allegedly in possession of child exploitation material earlier this year.
Brenton James Fredberg appeared in the Victor Harbor Magistrates Court on Monday facing multiple counts of possessing child exploitation material.
Police alleged that on March 30, 2022, Mr Fredberg was in possession of child exploitation material.
It is further alleged some of the material contained a child under the age of 14.
Michael Woods, defence counsel for Mr Fredberg, was excused from appearing in person alongside his client after there was a delay with the paperwork.
Mr Fredberg entered a new bail agreement which forbids him to be around children under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian present or be in child related work.
No pleas were entered.
The matter will return to court next year.
