A 60-year-old from Adelaide’s south will face court changed with indecent filming at Brighton Jetty

A 60-year-old southern suburbs man has been arrested and charged with filming young women using his shoe on Brighton Jetty.

A southern suburbs man has been arrested after he was allegedly taking photos of teenage girls using a camera attached to his shoe.

According to SA Police authorities responded to reports of a 60-year-old man allegedly taking a number of photos on the Brighton Jetty on February 6.

Police alleged the man was ‘upskirting’ using a camera attached to his shoe while approaching several unsuspecting females on the jetty.

A camera was found in his possession before he was arrested and charged with indecent filming.

He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court in March.

Investigations are continuing and police are keen to speak with anyone who saw the man in the area or who has any information.

He is described as of Indian Sub Continental appearance, about 170cm tall, with an average build and short dark cropped hair.

He was wearing a dark baseball cap, black sunglasses, white T-shirt, dark shorts and grey sandals.
