An Adelaide YouTube Gamer has been jailed for a string of child exploitation material offences, including importing illegal Japanese animated porn.

A pony-tailed YouTube gamer who streamed himself having sex with a childlike doll while children watched online has been jailed for child exploitation material offences.
Shane Andrew Lunnay, 35, of Parafield Gardens, imported close to 1000 hentai magazines – containing Japanese animated child pornography – over a period of about a year between 2018 and 2019.
Some of those publications depicted children as young as three as well as animals.
Lunnay also had more than 1500 images and videos of child exploitation material – a mixture of animation and real footage – on computers and hard drives.
He was charged with a string of state offences for possessing child exploitation material and federal offences for importing the magazines.
Judge Geraldine Davison said Lunnay bought the illegal magazines – to which she said he was “addicted” – online from Japan.
They were eventually intercepted by the Australian Border Force.
Judge Davison said Lunnay continued to download child exploitation material after he was put on notice by the Border Force last year, proving his offending was sustained.
Lunnay also streamed himself online having sex with a “childlike” doll, while he was aware children were watching the stream.
He was not charged or sentenced for that conduct, however.
Judge Davison said Lunnay’s offending was “not isolated” and happened over a “prolonged period”.
Lunnay operated a YouTube channel under the name of “Radical Dreamer Shane-O” where he would live stream hours of footage of him playing video games each day.
He was sentenced to two years in prison for the importation offences.
He will be released after one year on a commonwealth recognisance order requiring supervision for two years.
On the child exploitation material offences, he was sentenced to one year, two months and 13 days behind bars with an eight month non-parole period and fined $2000.
