Burton teen killed in Virginia crash
A young motorcyclist has died after a traffic accident north of Adelaide on Tuesday evening.

An 18-year-old man has died following a fatal crash north of Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to Virginia around 5.30pm on Tuesday after reports that a motorcycle and Holden ute had collided on Old Port Wakefield Road.
The motorcyclist, a Burton resident, passed away at the scene.
The driver of the Holden ute, a 22-year-old man from Lewiston, was not injured in the collision.
The road was closed while Major Crash investigators examined the scene.
The man’s death was the 28th life lost on our roads this year. He was the sixth motor cyclist to die so far this year.
