Four co-accused allegedly involved in a wild brawl at Modbury that saw one man stabbed and two others in hospital have faced court.

Housemates Amber Sikorski, 19, and Cori Daniel Ford, 25, as well as Krystal Lee Power, 31, all of Modbury and Cherie Louise Power, 35 of St Agnes, appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on charges stemming from the alleged altercation on January 24.

Jessica Jane Sikorski, 22 of Modbury, another housemate of Mr Ford and Amber Sikorski, was also charged for the alleged brawl.

Mark Love, for Mr Ford, and Richard Talbot, for Cherie Power, indicated their client’s charges would be contested and did not enter pleas.

Court documents showed Mr Ford was charged with aggravated cause harm with intent, which has since been downgraded to aggravated affray.

Cherie Power was facing counts of aggravated affray, common assault and carrying an offensive weapon.

Kassandra Girolamo, for Krystal Power, and defence counsel for Amber Sikorski, said negotiations were under way and resolution was possible on their clients’ charges of aggravated affray.

No pleas were entered to those charges.

Police say they attended the Modbury bus exchange after multiple calls to triple-0 at about 7.50pm.

Upon arrival, they say, a man had been stabbed in the chest and two other men had received minor injuries.

The incident sparked calls for increased safety at bus stops across Adelaide.

Tea Tree Gully Deputy Mayor Lucas Jones called for a security guard at the interchange.

Transport Workers' Union branch secretary Sam McIntosh told The Advertiser more needed to be done regarding security throughout the state’s bus network.

Court documents showed Jessica Sikorski was arrested at the scene and faced court in May on charges of aggravated affray and aggravated causing harm.

The more serious causing harm charge had since been withdrawn and Jessica Sikorski was released on bail with no pleas entered.

If found guilty, an aggravated offence of affray can land a defendant behind bars for a maximum of five years.

Magistrate Christopher Smolicz sent the matters to a pre-trial conference in August while Jessica Sikorski would return to court the same month for a hearing.
