Man, 37, and woman, 34, arrested in Parafield Gardens and Salisbury Downs drug busts

Police have seized five different drugs, thousands in cash and a gel blaster in weekend raids on two northern suburbs homes.

A man and woman from the northern suburbs have been arrested after two separate busts saw police seize drugs, weapons and significant amounts of cash.

Five types of drugs were uncovered when they searched a Parafield Gardens address suspected of drug dealing.

Police located around 27 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of heroin, 0.6 grams of Buprenorphine, 10 millilitres of Fantasy and 96 Xanax tablets. Police also located and seized almost $13,000 cash.

A 37-year-old Parafield Gardens man was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and money laundering.

He was refused bail and was expected to face the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.

The following day police attended a Salisbury Downs address where a search uncovered around 28 grams of methamphetamine, several thousand dollars in cash and a gel blaster.

A 34-year-old woman from Salisbury Downs was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug and money laundering.

She was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court in April.
