A former employer of a childcare worker accused of sex offences is assisting police with its investigation, a letter to parents has revealed.

Bronte John Ciracovitch appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday where a suppression order on his identity was revoked.

Ciracovitch was working at a northern suburbs childcare centre when he was arrested in September last year.

The 30-year-old has yet to plead to one count of maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a minor.

He is also charged with aggravated counts of producing and possessing child exploitation material.

However, it can be revealed Ciracovitch also worked at Precious Cargo Montessori early learning centre at Myrtle Bank between September, 2012 and April, 2014.

In a letter to parents earlier this week, Precious Cargo operations manager Donna Brine said the company had been assisting police.

“SAPOL Northern District CIB is investigating the matter and we have been assisting them with the investigation,” Ms Brine wrote.

“We have been advised that these charges do not involve any children from Precious Cargo.

“You have been given this information in confidence because your child/children attended Precious Cargo Myrtle Bank whilst Mr Ciracovitch was employed at the centre.”

Ciracovitch will next appear in court in May.

He was not an employee of the Department of Education and Child Services, and worked for a privately-run childcare centre.

That company operates two centres in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, as well as three others in regional areas.

Child Care Services Australia issued a statement earlier this week confirming Ciracovitch was a former employee.

“In line with South Australian Police requests, we have directly contacted all parents and caregivers of children related to our centres,” the statement read.

“The safety of all children is our number one priority. We have been liaising with SA Police since we became aware of the matter.”

Letters will be sent to 180 northern suburbs families seeking information following the unmasking of Ciracovitch’s identity.
