An Andrews Farm man has pleaded guilty to possessing child abuse material following a tip from the United States.
David Marc Kneebone, 23, was arrested in July last year following a police raid.
The arrest was the result of an Australian Federal Police investigation after it received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States.
The report alleged a South Australian man had been accessing and uploading child abuse material to an online storage platform.
In the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon, Kneebone pleaded guilty to possessing the material on a computer on June 14 last year and also accessing child sexual abuse material between February, 2019 and April, 2019 via a carriage service.
The Elizabeth Magistrates Court heard last year Kneebone was charged on July 14 after the South Australia Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team allegedly found illegal material on electronic devices during a search of his home that day.
He will face the District Court of South Australia for sentencing in July.
