An Andrews Farm man has fronted court accused of accessing child abuse material after a police raid prompted by a tip from the United States.
David Marc Kneebone, 22, appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday accused of possessing child abuse material using a carriage service and using the service to access child pornography.
Kneebone was charged on July 14 after the South Australia Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team allegedly found illegal material on electronic devices during a search of his home that day.
The arrest followed an Australian Federal Police investigation after it received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States.
The report alleged a South Australian man had been accessing and uploading child abuse material to an online storage platform.
Kneebone will next appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 25.
