8-year-old girl taken to hospital with minor injuries after being struck by car

An 8-year-old girl has been hospitalised after running across a northern suburbs road before being struck by a car, with the whole incident caught on camera.
Just before 11am on Saturday, emergency services were called to a street in Blair Athol after reports a child had been hit by a car.
The footage shows the 8-year-old running across the road before being struck by a red vehicle.

Witnesses are then seen running to her side and picking the child up.
An SA Ambulance spokeswoman said the child sustained a fracture to her arm and had back pain, but managed to escape without major injuries.
She was taken to the Women‘s and Children’s Hospital in a non-life threatening condition.
SA Police said no one had been fined over the incident. No arrests were made.
