Advice message for bushfire in the South East near Lucindale
The threat of a bushfire that burned through almost 2000ha in the state’s South East has now reduced.

The threat of a bushfire that flared up on Thursday night in South Australia’s South East has reduced.
An emergency warning was issued on Thursday night but was downgraded to an advice message about 5.30am Friday.
The Country Fire Service warned residents in Coles, Callendale and Elad roads to stay alert and monitor local conditions.
“At this time there is no threat to life or property and firefighters are attending this fire,” a CFS statement said.
The fire was burning in a westerly direction towards Conmurra Rd on Thursday evening. .
The plantation fire first sparked around 1pm Thursday near Coles, about 20 minutes outside Lucindale.
The blaze had already burned through roughly 1991ha on Thursday evening most of which was forestry plantation.
It spread from the planted blue gum trees through to surrounding grass and scrubland.
