A man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted four random women by punching, slapping and kicking them while on the Gawler train line on Sunday. He’s already out on bail.

A man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly assaulted four women on a train line in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
Four female passengers on the Adelaide-bound train were allegedly assaulted by the man just before 9am with him verbally abusing them, spitting at them, punching, slapping and pushing them, police say.
The four women were travelling separately and did not know the man.
Police believe the incident took place between Kilburn and Adelaide.
Once in Adelaide, the 47-year-old man allegedly jumped the exit barrier and ran towards Adelaide Oval, where he was later arrested.
He has been charged with four counts of assault and was granted bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in August.
The man, from Salisbury, has also been issued a three-month transport barring order.
None of the women required medical treatment.
