Councils across Adelaide and parts of South Australia have introduced rate relief measures in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Many ratepayers have had their income cut significantly, while sporting and community clubs are unable to hold the events that keep them afloat.
Many councils have scrapped fines and interest for late rate payments and offered deferral to people under serious financial hardship.
A handful of councils have committed to freezing their rates next financial year.
Many sporting clubs have also been given a lifeline with their lease payments suspended.
But some councils have not introduced any coronavirus-specific relief for their communities.
