UNLEY Mayor Lachlan Clyne will lead his council for a second term after he was elected unopposed at this year’s council elections.

Mr Clyne, who won the 2010 election against former state MP Mark Brindal and former deputy mayor Les Birch, was first elected to Unley Council in 2006.
Clarence Park Ward councillors Jennie Boisvert and Don Palmer will also be re-elected unopposed.
Peace actionist Gill Hicks, who announced in July she would run for council, did not lodge a nomination.
The MBE with an honorary doctorate and mother to 18-month-old Amelie lost her legs in the 2005 London terrorist bombings.
Across the wards, 25 candidates will contest 12 seats.
