Renee Kennedy of Inspire Cosmetology, has been doing exactly that for over a decade and still has the same passion for her art everyday.
Starting her cosmetic career in London, Ms Kennedy says she ever leap and bound she has taken to get where she is today has been worth it.
Now the Firle cosmetic injector has been named South Australia’s best as voted by you.
“I always wanted to get into the industry so I self-funded my courses over there before working at a cosmetic place and eventually became manager of the clinic,” Ms Kennedy said.
“I’ve been an injector for around 11 years, it is my absolute passion and I love it.
“I've always had an innate ability to see what needs to be done with people, it’s a very natural gift that I have.”
In recent years, the topic of cosmetic work has slowly become less taboo in everyday conversation, something Ms Kennedy believes is all for the better.
“I was 26 when I first got my lip fillers and I told no one,” she said.
“But now everyone from the age of 18 are looking at getting different things done and because it is now very accessible to people.
“The industry has changed dramatically and it’s always improving, there’s always new treatments that come out all the time.
“It’s definitely an exciting industry to be in.”
