After following his GPS system down a narrow, leafy eastern suburbs street on Tuesday, a B-double truck driver from Melbourne knocked down a tree and damaged a car.
The truck became stuck on Glenunga Ave near Allinga Ave, just off Portrush Rd about 5.20am on Tuesday after using directions from his GPS system.
The driver detached the trailer, which blocked Allinga Ave for several hours, while the prime mover partially blocked Glenunga Ave.
Police say the mess was cleared up some time after 8am.
The truck also knocked over a tree, which is believed to have then damaged a car and a fence.
With the avenue just off a major trucking route in and out of Adelaide, one resident said this wasn’t the first time such an incident had happened.
